Scientists have shown that when we look at a person, an animal or even their images, we first of all involuntarily look into their eyes. When we look at a person, we quickly pass our eyes to his lips, nose, hair, but invariably we go back again and fix our gaze on his eyes. The eyes express the full range of human feelings. Everything matters - the lumen of the pupils, the shape of the eyes, the position of the eyelids and eyebrows, the presence of wrinkles - the "rays" around the eyes, the absence of red streaks on the "white" of the eyes, the brightness of the color of the "iris". Also, the area around the eyes is a kind of indicator of a person's age.
From the point of view of a specialist, the problems in this area can be divided into:
- reduced skin elasticity
- wrinkles around the eyes
- swelling and dark circles under the eyes
- "nasolacrimal sulcus", this is one of the most "unpleasant" manifestations: a groove that runs from the inner corner of the eye obliquely along the cheek, appears as a result of age-related displacement and sagging of the skin downwards,
- hernias of the upper and lower eyelids
Who is to blame and what to do
Almost all eye contour problems begin with a decrease in the elastic properties of the skin. The skin begins to "slip", the border between the orbit and the cheek moves down, the eye begins to look older due to the fact that the soft tissues no longer cover the lower edge of the orbit, it is covered only by an elongated eyelid.
Important! You need to "catch" the process early on to prevent the skin from moving so much when it can only be tightened with surgery. It is imperative to carry out preventive courses that strengthen the muscles of the face and increase the elasticity of the skin around the eyes. As a rule, experienced cosmetologists do not develop a "direct" course, but use combinations of techniques, and the choice of technique is often based on the patient's current skin condition. If you are over 25, be sure to visit a beautician, an individual prevention program of aging will be developed for you, taking into account the hereditary features of the face. Someone is threatened with hernias, someone has dark brown circles around the eyes, someone is the so-called "premolar bags". An experienced cosmetologist will immediately see your "pain points" and advise what to look for. The common misconception "the later you go to a beautician, the better" is fundamentally wrong and as a result huge numbers of people miss the opportunity to prevent aging of the face and eyes.
Problem and solution
Some of these deficiencies (for example, herniated upper and lower eyelids) can only be treated by surgeons. But most of the remaining problems could be solved by a beautician.
Wrinkles around the eyes are removed with Botox or Dysport injections. In people prone to edema, their use must be preceded by a course of hardware cosmetology (microcurrents), as well as mesotherapy aimed at improving blood and lymphatic circulation.
Comprehensive programs using hardware cosmetology, chemical peels, mesotherapy and biorevitalization help increase skin elasticity, remove unwanted pigmentation, swelling and fine surface wrinkles. Mesotherapy differs from biorevitalization in the preparations used: in biorevitalization it is hyaluronic acid with a larger molecule, which allows it to stay in the skin longer and have a more pronounced rejuvenating effect. An excellent effect for rejuvenating the skin of the eyes is provided by an alternating biorevitalization program and peeling procedures. It is better to use preparations designed specifically for the area around the eyes, which increases the effectiveness of the procedures and makes them as physiological as possible.
A complete course consists of the alternation of four peeling procedures and four biorevitalization procedures (preparation of hyaluronic acid) with an interval between them of one week.
The composition of the peeling includes a combination of acids that have a pronounced depigmenting and rejuvenating effect. They are used in small concentrations, which reduces the risk of irritation, but adding the effect of the two acids gives the desired effect. The technology of a "gradual release" active ingredient is used in the production of peeling. After the procedure, the peeling is usually small, insignificant. It begins approximately on the 2nd day and ends 4-5 days after the first procedure, after repeated procedures it is faster.
Biorevitalization is prescribed at intervals of one week after peeling. The ideal choice for this is the use of a hyaluronic acid preparation, designed to treat delicate areas with a minimum risk of swelling. The drug is administered in large "drops", which significantly reduces skin trauma.
Oxygen-ozone therapy will help smokers and people who are hardly ever outdoors. Refreshes the face and improves the elasticity of the skin, the eyes become shiny and clear.
Patients with "bags" under the eyes are shown microcurrent therapy, which allows you to tighten the skin and remove congestion. The result is noticeable after 2-3 procedures, but for a lasting result it is recommended to visit 10-15 procedures 2-3 times a week.
Gels based on hyaluronic acid will help to fill the deep nasolacrimal sulcus, to visually "hide" the hernia. This procedure is one of the most effective, as it is performed quickly, almost painlessly, and filling the nasolacrimal sulcus literally "rejuvenates" the face for several years before our eyes.
Where to start?
A proper rejuvenation program of the eye area should begin with the restoration of the quality of the skin (mesotherapy and peeling) and end with the introduction of Botox and hyaluronic gels. In the absence of edema of the eye area, a "debut" is possible with the introduction of Botox. When preparing for plastic surgery, it is also desirable to conduct therapeutic preparation using cosmetic techniques. This will significantly improve the course of the postoperative period and significantly reduce the likelihood of complications. It is also important to choose the right products for home use and their regular use.
In conclusion, we note that we must not forget the most effective methods for rejuvenating the eye contour area: good sleep, fresh air and the absence of bad habits.
